On Sal, there is many dives for beginners to experienced divers. December to March are the most difficult months to dive as the conditions are rougher, July, August, September and October are the best months to dive as they are the calmest moths of the year.

There are 18 dive sights reachable by boat in 40 minutes at the south part of the island. Goat fish, Groupers, Cape Verde Sea Bream, Dam Salfish, Wrasse, Snapper, Arrow Crabs, Fire Worms and Coral are some of the marine life you can see on these dives. Sometimes there is the possibility of seeing Sharks, Turtles, Stingrays, Dolphins and even Octopus.

Boris Kwarcit is the most popular wreck for divers, it was sunken around two decades ago. Barracudas are sometimes sighted here. There are also a few shallow wrecks and two main dive sights. Morrinha dos Pedrasis located on the west side of Sal and Tchu-Kassa in the south.
